Since its formation in 1983, Quartet Seraphin has always
included in its goals an emphasis on introducing and educating
new audiences to the intimate and appealing nature of chamber
music. Many composers have used the string quartet as a medium
for their greatest and most personal works. Young and old
alike discover that a whole new world of music has been opened
to them after they have been an audience to this kind of music
for the first time.
Quartet Seraphin offers three programs in the Meet the Composer
series. Each of the programs is an original musical drama
45 minutes in length, bringing the famous composer and his
music to life.
Programs in the Series:
