HOLLY KURTZ, VIOLIST, joined Quartet Seraphin in June 2003. Currently, Holly teaches privately; however she previously taught at the Community Music School, Principia College and Webster University in St. Louis. Holly has performed with numerous orchestral and chamber groups including St. Louis Orchestra, BachSociety, Masterworks Chorale, American Kantorei, and Kammerguild Orchestra.

Originally from Long Island, Holly was a member of the Long Island Symphony; she also fiddled with a bluegrass band. Holly was a former member of the Tulsa Philharmonic where she taught at Oral Roberts University. She was a student of Peter Kamnitzer of the LaSalle Quartet. Holly has a B.M. degree from College of Wooster in Ohio and she did graduate work at the University of Cincinnati. Holly lives in Kirkwood with her husband, John, and their three dogs.
