MARY LOU GOTMAN, CELLIST AND FOUNDING MEMBER, graduated from Bowling Green University with an emphasis in string pedagogy and music education. She has taught in the Richmond, VA schools and the Ladue School District in St. Louis.

Presently, Ms. Gotman teaches cello, coaches chamber music and is the founder and conductor of the String Orchestra at the Community Music School of Webster University. She is a former member of the Richmond Symphony and Trio Pro Vivo. Currently, she spends her summers as a faculty member of the Rocky Mountain Summer Conservatory in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Ms. Gotman has prepared the Teachers' Manuals for Quartet Seraphin's "Meet the Composers" Series.
